Copy Paste inside Entourage 2004 does not work

I can copy any text from outside Entourage 2004 into Entourage, but I
cannot copy or cut any text inside an entourage email. I am not sure
when I lost that capability.

More specifically:

when I try to copy a text block in an email and then paste it in the
email, the program pastes a text block that I copied earlier from some
other program. The "cut" command gets no response.

Any ideas?

I suspect that you are trying to copy from 'complex html' emails - I often
find that these seem to ignore the copy command. In many cases, it is also
difficult to select text, never mind copy it.

I know of no fix for this.

A clumsy workaround is to make a copy of the message (using a script),
and then convert the copy to plain text, which you can then copy. Or,
"reply" to the message, convert the reply to plain text, copy from
there, then delete the reply.

Just simple copy and pasting is a huge hassle here at my work. When I
copy just a simple text block in to the clipboard and then try and
paste it into photoshop's caption info areas, it crashes photoshop
almost every time. My only work around is to paste it in to Word or
another text based program and then copy it from there to Photoshop.
It's a huge pain in the ass and Microsoft needs a fix for this and
fast.

Also please fix the public folder download lag. I have to wait about 2
mins for the public folders to list. Just subscribing to one folder
does not cut it in my book.
