Copy Sender to Excel

It should be easy. It is in Outlook. In Outlook, you can select individual email or a range of email from your Inbox and then use the Copy command and then Paste into Excel. The Header info. i.e. Sender, EMail address, Date, Subject is nicely put into columns with the data below. Entourage does not allow you to do this. Copy is grayed out. I got this to work once by using Command C rather than the menu item, but it won't let me do this consistently.

I'm not familiar with that feature of Outlook but I do see you can drag
and drop *one* message at a time from Entourage into Excel and populate
the information.

Hope this helps!

I realized today that the one success I had copying names and email addresses into Excel was because I was actually copying from Outlook.
The data was still on the Clipboard when I pasted it into Excel. Command C from Entourage did nothing. The paste into Excel actually came from the earlier Copy in Outlook. There must be an Apple Script that will do this, but I haven't found it yet.
