Copying appointments to new dates

Is there a way to copy appointments from one date to another? When I try to
drag something from one date to another, it just moves the appointment to
the new date, leaving the old date empty. I would love to be able to
duplicate an appointment but just on another date....
Commad-c/right-clicking copy on the appointment to be copied doesn¹t seem to
work either...

Paul Berkowitz has a script called 'duplicate calendar event'. It should be
available at www.scriptbuilders.net
