Copying hyperlinks

Please can anyone tell me how to copy a word document onto a CD without
messing up the hyperlinks? I can find and replace all links (F9 etc) but when
copied onto CD the hyperlink is still searching for linked document on C
drive rather than D drive. Is there any way of altering this without going
through and changing each hyperlink individually?
Thanks in advance,
Dave Le Feuvre.

You can use Find & Replace to replace the path in the hyperlinks (you'll
have to display the field codes for this to work). This may or may not work.
In my experience, Word does save the fields correctly; it's when you reopen
the document that it updates them and messes them up. So you could try
replacing, saving (as a copy), and then copying to CD without reopening the
doc.
