I have Microsoft Clipart Gallery that came with Microsoft Home Publisher
2000, a short lived program that no longer exists anywhere that I can see.
Assuming I purchased the program legitimately - I did - am I able to
use/distribute the clipart in the same way someone with a Microsoft Office
license can? i.e. not as part of a logo, and not as an intrinsic part of the
offering i.e. as a clipart collection of some sort?

Also, can I alter the clipart in any way? Can I use a graphics program such
as Paint Shop Pro to change the clipart such that it looks quite different -
sometimes unrecognizably so - from the original, and then distribute that?
Thanks very much.

Microsoft Home Publishing / Picture It!...
evolved into Picture It! Publishing 2001/2002...
and is now called MS Digital Image Suite.

FWIW...if you still have .php projects from
HP2000...any version of Picture It! / Digital
Image should open them successfully.

As for the clipart...I'm sure you are aware
that purchasing the program legitimately
does not mean you own the artwork. The
included art is/was intended to be used
as a component of the various projects.
