How do I put a copyright on my presentation, should i put it in a footer or
text box or what, and also what language should I use to make it look
professional?

You can place it anywhere on the slide that you want, but placing it on the
slide master will ensure that it shows up on each slide. Establish guidelines
and stick with them. The statement does not need to be large. A 9 pt Arial
will suffice.

To create the circle c, type in (C). PowerPoint will change the text to the
circle c. You can use the word "Copyright" if necessary. So it can appear as
follows:

Copyright 2007 Your Legal Company Name or
(C) 2007 Your Legal Company Name

You probably want to put it in the footer. The language is pretty standard:

(c) <year> <name of copyright holder> All Rights Reserved

where the (c) is the c in a circle, and the year is the year of creation.
You should note that anything you create is automatically copyrighted and
adding the statement doesn't really give you more protection (at least in
the United States), but it lets people know that you care.
