correct color

The color projected on the screen of images in my Power Point presentation
does not match the color on the monitor. The reds are seem darker and less
visible. Our campus technicians claim that this is the best match possible
because the computer is connected to the projector by s-video. do I have any
options for improving the color?

That's the problem.

If you use a regular monitor/projector cable, you get a better
match/picture. Drawbacks = This cable is expensive and can only go for short
runs

s-video = cheap cable, can go for longer runs
