Corrupt Database Message

I recently switched back to Office and Entourage after the latest update and find it much more stable than when I first got it, but in the past week I've been getting an error message saying my database is corrupt and I might not be able to access data like contacts. It advises a rebuild. I did this only two days ago -- and it takes ages. Is there really something wrong or should I simply delete the com.microsoft.OfficeNotifications.plist
preference?
I would be surprised if the database had corrupted again so soon, if it has I'll have to reconsider switching back.

Some users have found that imported databases are troublesome. Exporting
your data manually into a new Identity solves this problem.
