Corrupt Entourage meetings...why?

Every now and then Entourage creates a meeting with a corruption in
it. Pre-OSX, I could go into the Prefs folder in the System folder,
trash the outlook prefs and start again from scratch. is there an
Entourage prefs file in OSX that might be corrupted that i can trash
to see if it fixes this problem?

i forgot to mention this is Entourage 2004
