Corrupt mailbox (I think)

Hello,

My wife's computer has a problem receiving mail in one of her accounts
(Entourage v.X) - the application just quits. Checking and getting incoming
mail for her other accounts works fine.

I can get her mail on the problem account on my copy of entourage, so I
suspect the mailbox for that account is corrupt. Fair conclusion? What can
I do about it?

Recently, malformed junk mail has exploited a bug in the Junk Mail Filter
included with Entourage X and 2001 that causes the entire program to crash
when Entourage attempts to download and process the message. Microsoft has
posted a fix at their web site:

Entourage 2004 includes improvements that allows it to download most of the
commonly-received junk messages that crashed earlier versions. However,
there might now be new types of messages that crash Entourage 2004 as well.

If you are crashing on receiving mail, it could be due to a corrupt message
on the server. Work through the steps on the "Crashes" page on The
Entourage Help Page.
