Corrupted attachment solution

Using Entourage 2004 11.1.0 any attachments that I receive are
corrupted. This includes .jpg and .pdf.
This is after they are saved to my drive. Curiously, if the attachment
is a Word document, this is not corrpted and opens fine as do Excel
docs.

I sent myself files that I tested before and they were received
corrupted.

I searched this group and found many mentions of corrupt attachments
happening going back to early 2004 but I could not find any solutions.
I'd love to hear if anyone has found some solutions!

I found the solution.

What I didn't realize was that Entourage was set to partially download
messages from my IMAP account.

Once I noticed this was taaking place, I was able to finish downloading
from the IMAP server and the files were complete and were not marked as
corrupted.

I hope that if you are experiencing this same problem, you will find
this note!

Glad you found the solution; ignore my message in the earlier thread asking
you to repeat the problem.
