count & Autofilters

Hey,

Anyone know if a "COUNTA" will work if you have an AUTOFILTER in place... I
apply the filter and it counts the hidden cells still, is there a way round
this???

Use the SUBTOTAL worksheet function. For example:

=SUBTOTAL(3,A2:A1000)
