Create contact from e-mail

E

Ed Henninger

When I get an e-mail, I want to create a contact immediately from the
address of the sender. I'm sure there's an Entourage short cut to that but I
don't know what it is. Appreciate your help.

Hi Ed.
That's easy: simply double-click the name in the "From" section, and a new
contact window will show up. You can then add further details if you want
to, but remember to save afterwards to add that person to your address book.
Alternately, if you're using Entourage 2004 with the preview pane on the
right side, you can see a blue bullet right next to the "From" section in
the preview pane. Clicking on that bullet will bring up a context menu that
will also allow you to create a new contact.

There is also a keyboard shortcut for it: Command-=

Ed,
Put the cursor over the persons name who sent you the e-mail.
Hold down ctrl and click on the name.
A drop down box appears and go down to add person address book.
