Create Distribution list

Hi all, newbie here, I have just installed Outlook 2003, and would like to
create a mailing list to send things such as Xmas cards to multiple
recipients, but the key is, I would like to keep the recipients private of
each other.

Is there a FAQ on how to do this? I have tried File-New-Distribution List-
Add names to list, ticked box in bottom right hand corner which says
"Private" and added the list name to my email "To" address field.
Unfortunately, all the recipients were disclosed.

How do I prevent this?

You can use the BCC field for this. Distributionlists gets expanded when you
hit the Send button and therefore shows all the addresses unless you use the
BCC field.
