Create nice looking html-emails with Entourage?

Hi all,

I have not update to Office 2004 yet, I have a question...
I know that Entourage allows us to create html email with basic text
formatting. I read in the promo that you can also embed images,
sounds, etc.

What I want to know is, is the html toolset in Entourage advanced
enough that I can lay out a simple table and create a real webpage to
email, or am I just stuck with text and an embedded image?

Thanks,
Mabou

To create a complex HTML email message you create it in Word 2004 and
choose Sent To -> Mail Recipient (as HTML) from the File menu. You don't
create it in Entourage.

So you are only limited in what you can create or open in Word 2004.

Let's see what Matthew Smith said:

*blink* - ...and this is all supposed to be a good thing?

What about all the people that will now not be able to read your emails
becuase the mail service that they use doesn't fully support Microsoft's
"Word" version of HTML, which would have to be the ugliest thing in the
world. Have you ever looked at the /source/ of an email created in this
way?

I won't disagree with you. I was just answering a question on how to
send complex html messages with Entourage. The same goes on the Windows
platform. You use Word to create complex html messages for Outlook.
