create yearly subtotals in pivot table

I have a pivot table with 12 columns (Jan-Dec) repeated for 3 years. This
data is grouped by year-month. I have 5 rows of data for each month of the
three years.
I'd like to create a sub-total column of row data for each year. Can anyone
give me some guidance?
