Creating a Drop Down List

I am not an advanced user and I cannot find out how to create a drop down
list. I have a list of 16 items from which I need to be able to choose one
item. How do I do this? Thanks in advance.

Maybe I should be more precise: I use Word 2000, and I can create a drop down
list in Excel, but I cannot find out how to use this list in Word. Can anyone
help me please?

the devil; I just place controls on UserForms.
