creating crosstab reports with 2 sets of column values

good day!

i have a query [Calculate DTR Time] with the following fields:

EmployeeID, DTRDate, AssignedAreaID, NoHrsRegular, NoHoursOT, IsHoliday

Im trying to create a summary report out of it using crosstabs. At first, it
looked great but when i try to filter the

records using between dates, i got lost. i need help. i just learned how to
use crosstabs using crosstab wizard X_X.

the report should look like:

[startdate] [startdate + 1] [startdate + 2] ... [end date]
[Totals]
regular/OT reg / OT reg / OT ... reg / OT
reg / OT

[AssigneArea1]
[Employee1] 8 / - 8 / - - / - 8 / -
24 / -
[Employee2] 8 / 2 8 / 2 7 / - 8 / 2
31 / 6
[Employee4] - / - - / - - / - 8 / -
8 / -
...

[AssigneArea2]
[Employee1] - / - - / - 7 / - - / -
7 / -
[Employee3] 8 / 2 8 / - 7 / - 8 / -

this is what i did:
1. i made a crosstab query for regular hours. (looks fine)
2. created another crosstab query for overtimes. (fine too)
3. combined both query to create a 2 column value (Hrs regular and Hrs OT)
and placed it in a report

i dont know what to do now if i implement date range to filter it. some
suggestions are useful.
