Creating Registration Form AND Login Page to query same database

Good Morning,

I have successfully created a Registration form that sends
results to both a Access data base and email. I have also
created the login page that grants access to my web site
with a pre-populated username and password in a Access
database.

My question is, there has to be a easier way to create
both, so that when a user registers, it populates the info
in the database and then lets them automatically login
querying the registration info that they just entered.

I know this must be much easier than Im making it..any
help or direction would be greatly appreciated!

Mike,
Sounds like you'ev done everything correctly. All you have to do on
the registration page is, as a last step after sucecssful registration, to
add the cookie that login cookie. Basically, you can use the same method for
logging them just tack it onto the end of the registration process
transparently (ie: use the info you've already gathered so they don't have
to enter it again)

Hope this helps,

Hi Mike,

There is no need to query the registration db if they just registered. Just
set the same cookie / session var that is set when they would come through
the login page -- there is a login page correct?
