This is Markesha Tillman.Here is my assignment for week 2.
Chapter 4
1. Does the law really exist today? That is a very important question. MY
opinion is , law exist today and will continue to exist in the future. Now ,
the bigger question is , Do people believe in the law and follow them ? The
answer to the is no! If people believed in in the laws and abided by them
prejudice people wouldn't exist. The law says we shouldn't discarnate
because if race, color, sex, religion, or sex preferences. If you notice
there are still hate crimes being committed even trough they are aware of
the law.
2. 1. Felonies- is the most serious crime defined as a criminal offense that
is resulted in a punishment of death penalty or incarceration for a year or
more. Examples of a felony are murder, robbery, kidnapping.
2. Misdemeanor- is a minor crime which is defined as a criminal offense that
is resulted in a punishment of incarceration for a year or less.
3. Offenses- is a minor crime that is defined as a violation of the penal
law, there a many different types of offenses such as; larceny, bike theft,
bomb threat, etc.
4. Treason & Espionage- are serious crimes and are defined as helping a
foreign country to injure the U.S.
5. Inchoate offenses- is a minor crimes defined as a offense not yet
completed . An example of an inchoate offense an attempt and conspiracy.
