cursor goes up instead of down when you delete in Entourage

Does anyone know how to make the cursor go down to the next email
message instead of up when you are deleteing messages. It is not a
problem if you are at the top of the page but if you are tring to
delete emails from anywhere else the cursor goes up. Outlook on the PC
has the cursor going down to the next email when you delete instead of
up???
