Custom Animation Crash

Running slide show custom animations with mouseclick runs perfectly.
However, keyboard strokes (spacebar, etc) crash and hang slide show
animation. The crash is severe, appears to be in the GDI and the application
must be ended from Task Manager. I say GDI because the Task Manager fonts
appear graphical (similar to safe mode) than they would normally.

Start by turning down hardware acceleration and see if that resolves the
problem. If not, holler back.
