custom background pattern or image

Does anyone know if there is a way in Entourage 2004 to set a custom
repeating pattern as the default background image in an email? I have
clients using Entourage 2004 in a mixed pc/mac environment, and the pc
users (outlook/exchange server) have standardized on a specific repeating
background logo for all corporate communications. I can't find anywhere on
this site or the web where it talks about if this is even possible with
Entourage 2004.

Thanks in advance for any help. Please email me at [email protected] if
anyone can help. It would be nice if Microsoft could help us out, rather than
us always helping each other. Oh well...

In the Menu bar: Message -> Insert-> Background Picture

No, Entourage doesn't allow you to create templates or stationery. Some
users choose to create messages as stationery and save them as drafts. To
create a new message, the user can select the draft and duplicate it to
start a new message.

Another option is to create a signature. Go to Tools > Signatures, and then
go to Message > Insert > Background Picture. Now, you can click the
signature toolbar button and select a signature for a new HTML message to
get the default background. Or, you can have the signature inserted by
default by selecting it in the "Default Signature" pop-up of your account in
Tools > Accounts / Options tab.

Another option is Paul Berkowitz's free "Message Template" script.
