Custom Dictionary

If I add words to the custom dictionary from within Entourage 2008, then when I launch Word 2008, Word sends me an error message that the Custom Dictonary is not available.

This is also the case if I close down both programs and relaunch Word again.

I have set up a new custom dictionary, but it only works until I add to it from Entourage.

Any help appreciated

it's probably corrupted.
In Word, edit the preferences and go to Spelling. In there, select your
custom dictionary and open it (it shoudl open in Word). Make a slight
modification and save. Hopefully the problem will be gone. Saving after
a modification often "un-corrupts" the file.
