custom fields in contact are not available to map fields during im

I created several custom fields in for my contacts. I then tried to both link
data and import data from Excel to these fields. I do not see them in during
the mapping process. Therefore that information does not map and in not
available after my import. How do I get them to show up? Only standatd fields
are available to map. All other aspects on import and link appear to go fine.

Outlook doesn't support importing to custom fields. You'd have to write
custom code or use a third-party application. See
