Custom Function & Personal.XLS

Excel 2000 SR1, Win2kPro

Using a custom function works fine if the module is in my
current workbook, but when I move the function to the
module in my Personal.XLS workbook it does get recognised,
giving me a name error.

My understanding is that Personal.xls modules, etc are
availale to all open workbooks.

Can someone help me to get this working. Thanks.

you have to reference your workbook. so enter in a cell:
=personal.xls!Formula_name()
