Custom Signature

I've posed this question a number of ways and cannot get an answer... I've
scanned my signature to a jpg file on my desktop. I then go to tools... mail
format, then signatures. From this point I do not know how to proceed. I've
read replies suggesting "inline HTML" and referrals other things but no
instructions. Hoping for help.
