Customise colours of drop-down menus

Hi,

I run Windows XP pro and have modified the colour of dropdown menus
there, these changes have been implemented fine in all programs except
MS Office 2003 programs. Seems odd that MS proggies don't follow these
global changes but every other program does. Is it possible to make
Office progs adopt these changes? It works fine in Abobe pograms and
even in Notepad and Wordpad etc. just Office does not follow.
