We're running exchange 2003 (just migrated from pop-based mail last
weekend!) and outlook 2000 (to be migrated to 2003 next year). We'd like to
customize the return receipt reply that is sent when a party requests a read
receipt on an email they send us. In other words, (e-mail address removed) sends
an email to me at (e-mail address removed), and requests a read receipt (not a
delivery receipt) so he knows that I opened his message. We are an
insurance agency and for liability reasons would like to customize the read
receipt message that Joe receives so that it includes a particular
disclaimer.
Is this:
A) something I can configure on the Exchange 2003 server?
B) something I can configure on each Outlook workstation? (Ugh-lots of
workstations.)
C) something I'll have to tell my boss we can't do?
I've looked every place I can think of in Exchange System Manager, and
googled with not much luck.
Many thanks.
