customizing fields for contacts in address book

Scot

When composing a new e-mail, I always select the "to" box
to access my contacts. My problem with the new XP Office
Pro is that for a specific contact, I can't tell if the
entry is a SMTP entry or a fax entry. I have tried
dragging the field indicating SMTP or FAX next to the
name, but the next time I access the address
book/contacts, the fields have realligned back to their
default position.

Is there a way to customize the fields so that I can see
if my entry is a SMTP entry or a FAX entry? Thanks in
advance!

Why then was I able to do it before? I could always tell
if I was selecting a fax vs. an e-mail? There has to be
a way to filter or differentiate or this is a very
ineffecient system!

No.
You must use the horizontal scroll bar to distinguish one address from
another.

After posting, I went to the knowledge base, and it seems
as this is a known problem and seems to be an issue that
is being worked on. Did you understand the same?

They removed those labels. Don't ask me why.

It is not being worked on and there will be no change in Outook 2002.
Outlook 2003 "solves" the problem simply by allowing you to resize the
address book.
