What version of PPT do you have, and at what point do you see this error
message?
If you're sending or receiving emailed files from an older version of PPT,
usually ZIPping the file before sending will prevent this.

AOF,
The only time I have ever seen a cyclic redundancy error is with a corrupt
floppy disk that cannot be read, or an A drive that won't read a good disk.
Does this happen when you try to open a presentation?
