When are we going to see a new version of Data Analyser? It seems that it is
in "maintaince mode" Ie we are getting rid of it mode. I work for a
healthcare firm and we use it extensivly. It is great for quick graphical
queries etc and could be devoloped into somthing very powerful. If microsoft
wernt going to devolop it why did they buy it? The origional company I'm sure
would have devoloped it further. IN the meantime our users cannot look
forward to any enhansements of this excellent tool

Hi Sowens,

Portions of the MS Office Data Analyzer capability are
part of MS Excel 2003. It's not clear at this point
how the product and its capabilities will evolve in
the future.

Bob,

Yep the 2003 version has some lovley new features for cube analysis, It does
not give the user the easy way that dataanalyser did. Its strong point was
that it was so visual and so easy to use for "on the run" or "browsing" of
data. - is there even any indication when it might become clear as to what
will become of the product.
