Data sorting

I have two sheets in my excel file. my sheet1 contains
the emp no., employee name and my sheet2 contains employee
name & seating location. My sheet1 is sorted on employee
name, whereas my sheet2 is sorted on seating location.

I want to have the field of seating location in my sheet1
as well and whenever someone puts the seating location on
the sheet2, it should automatically come in sheet1. I am
using =Sheet2!B2 for getting the seating location data in
first sheet. For doing this, I sorted sheet2 also on
employee name, so that by dragging the formula, i can
apply it on the entire sheet1. However, when I sorted
sheet2 again on seating location, the formula of sheet1
gets lost.

Is it possible for me to again sort back by sheet2 on
seating location, without affecting my formula of sheet1.

Or is there any other solution, whereby I can get the data
for sheet1 from sheet2. I tried using vlookup, but since
this action is only one time, it is not useful to me. I
need the seating location data to come to sheet1, whenever
I put any data in sheet2.
