Data validation in MS Project 2003?

I know how to setup data validation in Excel but how do I set it up in MS
Project?

Hello,
What do you mean by "data validation" in Excel : to purpose the user a drop
down list ?
If so, it's possible in Project :
Tools / Fields... /
Select a Text(x) field, then : Value List

Note that this is true only for certain fields (the user defined fields like
text1-text30 and outline codes). You can't set it for task name.

Data validation in Excel is on the order of "This cell must be a label" and
"That cell must contain a number between 0 and 100." What sort of data
validation do you want to establish in Project that goes beyond the data
type checking that's already there?

Project lets allows setting it so that it must be in the predefined list.
That is about it.
