Data validation

I have a worksheet that requires that correct text is entered in certain cells.
Users of the worksheet type in either noon, faop, eosp, st by or fwe. faop
and eosp trigger macros. It is important that the correct text is typed in.
Data validation exists for numerical entries is there a similar means of
ensuring correct entries with text?

Have you tried maybe typing up the list and then go
data/validation.. and then on the settings choose the list
and then go to where u typed the list and select it. you
can also provide a drop down list for them to choose.
