database exists but data does not display

Email Client: Exchange

I synchronized my mailbox with my exchange server. This took around 12 hours as the mailbox is over 6GB.

In main identity, I do find the database but when I open Entourage, no mail displays and starts synching with the exchange server again, from scratch.

This happens each time I start Entourage.

What is going wrong?

I'm going to let the Exchange experts help with your problem, but wanted you
to consider reducing your mailbox.

AutoArchive Exchange Account to "On My Computer"

Move all e-mail older than 60 days (time adjustable) from your Exchange
account folders to archive folders within the "On My Computer" folder tree.

I think 12 hours for 6GB is still way too long. Have a look at my blog
post for optimizing Entourage when connecting with Exchange. Make sure
you're connecting to a backend server (not an OWA address) if you're on
the same company network as your server and see what happens.

"Optimize Entourage to better work with Exchange"

Hope this helps!
