I'm using Entourage 2004 on a MacBook Pro with OSX 10.4.9
I've had a couple database damage errors in the last few months and I
have had to rebuild the database a few times. Typically when Entourage
is able to reopen I can use my same preferences, address book, deleted
messages, etc. But this time, it seems to only want to treat me like a
brand new user.
When I try to switch identities, it says it will only import 2001
identities (which is a really outdated version of my files) and
Entourage X, which it can't seem to find any databases in that format.
I've tried to import and force it to look in the folder where I
believe a "good" database from a few months ago is but it won't accept
it.
I'm a heavy e-mail user and thought I was backing up my database
properly but this will put a huge crimp in my plans if I've lost
everything.
Any suggestions?
