Date chages when creating a new event

Hi,
I just finished installing office 2008 and I'm having problems with the dates.
When I tryed to ill my birthday information in the preferences (of word for example) I couldn't because it changed the date that I set.
In entourage when i try to create a new event it also changes the date of the event. The date that appears in the calendar for "today" is correct and the date of my system is also correct.
Can anyone help me?

Like you, I'd really like to have an answer cause I'm having a similar problem. Whenever I save an event scheduled for February 2008, for example, start and end dates are changed for dates somewhere in March 2010. Also, when I click on the calendar icon in the event Windows, default month is March 2010.

That's why Entourage calendar is almost unusable for me.

Using Office 2008 French Canadian Version, Mac OS 10.4.11.

I had a custom format of date in date & time of System perferences and changed it to a standard one and i got the problem solved.

Changing the date & time System Preference did not resolve my problem. Any other ideas?
