I guess it depends on whether the bug in Entourage is "real" or just the
display. If it knows the real date and is just displaying it incorrectly, it
will sync to Address Book with correct dates. But if it actually _sets_ the
date incorrectly then everything will sync to Address Book as December also.
I suppose there's even a tiny possibility that dates set by AppleScript
won't have the bug, but I'd really doubt that.
You can try out the script for free (14 days demo). I really don't know what
will happen, but I'd expect that you'd still see the same bug. I suppose you
could choose to do One-Way Synching Address Book overwriting Entourage so
that the dates stayed correct in Address Book.
The only sure way to work around this bug would be to enter birthdays in a
custom field (NOT a custom date field) and map that custom field to the
Address Book notes, not birthday field. That way, everything will be text
and won't get perverted. You won't be able to get them entered in the
Calendar, but since those would always be December anyway, it seems, that's
probably a good thing.

Subject: Re: Date format bug!
I would like to use Sync Entourage-Address Book 2 [PANTHER] 2.5.3 to my
syncs. How this bug will affect the date fields if I use Apple Address Book,
with Brazil (Portugue), as source for my syncs?

They didn't fix this in 2004? That's bad.
