date format in table

Yesterday I noticed that a co-worker has her dates listed Year-Month-Day. On
my computer it's standard American, M-D-Y. How is that changed? She didn't
know.
thanks.

Hi Naomin ,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

These settings are set up in Windows and not Project specific. Try the
Control Panel/International settings.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

Hi Mike,
Interesting reply, thank you!
However, I don't see "international settings" directly under control panel,
and it's not under "date and time".

thanks, N

Oh, never mind, I think I got it. It's control panel - regional and language
settings. I'll check with my coworker to see what happens. (makes sense, -
she's from China!)

The wording depends on the version of Windows you're using. Early versions
were the International settings. In XP, select Date,Time, Language and
Regional Options, then Date, Time. In Vista it's Clock, Language and
Region...
