Date - How Do I convert events occurring in a wk to a day/wk

Hi

I am tracking a events that occur throughout the week
For presentation purposes, i need to group them by week.

e.g. the events occur as follows:
11/10, 11/10, 11/10, 11/12, 11/12, 11/13, 11/14, 11/14

i would like to convert all the above events to a single
date for charting - e.g. 11/14

is there a function to do this or should i create a pivot
table?
