Date Range Searching

Dear all ,
Can anyone help me with a way to do the following:

I've a price list that varied with days. For example

01 Sept -03 Sept it sells U$20
03 Sept -05 Sept It sells at U$30

Possible if i ask for a date range such as 01-05 Sept, it should all the
above price range

the best way would be if you split your data range in two columns. e.g.
column A starting date, column B ending date, column C price. Now if
cell D1 stroes your search date try:
=VLOOKUP(D1,A1:C100,3,TRUE)

I think you'll have to look up each date individually, i.e. Sep 1, Sep 2, etc.
