Date stamp notes in contact

I used ACT for years but it's no longer available ifor Mac so I'm
using Entourage. Is there a way (script) to have a date stamp a new
entry in the contact/note?

Anything else that would make it more of a CMS?

When you open notes in Entourage at the right end of the toolbar that offers
font selection etc, there is an icon that represents the date and time, click
that and you have an instant date and time stamp at the top of your notes.

I too used ACT for years. I find entourage to do as good if not better job
as ACT.

If you have the "Other" section of a contact open with the notes pane
present, there is a "Custom date 1" field available just below the notes
field. If you click the calendar icon next to it, you can "Insert Today's
Date", which will be recorded with the contact.

Alternatively, you can use Paul Berkowitz's free "Date Stamp" script to
quickly insert the date into any text field in Entourage. You can get the
free script from his site. Click the "Entourage X-2004 scripts" link, and
then click to download "Date Stamp X 1.0.1.sit". Instructions for set-up
and use are included in the Read Me.

Well...

I think "time stamp" is a very good resource and I use it very much. Put it in "Notes" it`s ok, but, wouldn't be very more logical to put it in the "To Do" feature?

Everytime I do something that is a "to do" event, I made an atualization and shot a time stamp would make things more organized.

Is there any way to do that? I mean, put "time stamp" in a "to do" event?

Thank you in advance!

:)
