Date/time calculation

Hi,

I am new in Excel. So, It must be an easy question...

I have a date/time a cell with date/time values:

A1: 9/3/04 11:13

I need to create column where each next cell has value on 10 min les
that previouse.

Like :

A1: 9/3/04 11:13
A2: 9/3/04 11:03
A3: 9/3/04 10:53
A4: 9/3/04 10:43
A5: 9/3/04 10:33
...................
..........
An: 9/2/04 11:13
Am: 9/2/04 11:03

It should be formula something like A2 = A1 -10min

Could not find answer in help, and joined your club :cool:

Hi Leo,

In A2:

=A1-(1/24/6) and fill down

since time is stored as a fraction of a day

Thank you everybody for so quick reply.

I used the first suggestion (=A1 - TIME(0, 10, 0)) and it work
perfectly.
