Dateadd question

I am trying to add a date from a nested subform to a date
on the main form. The subform is nested in a one-to-many
relationship with the main form. Naturally several dates
can exist in the subform...I want to add only the maximum
date value in the subform to the date in the main form.
Is this possible? Thanks for any ideas.

Try DMax("[date field name]",Forms![main form name]!
[subform name].Form.recordsource)
