The dates of incoming or outgoing e-mails is no longer mentioned in the screen / column if the messages are older than a week.
How can I change this?

Can you describe this a little better? Date/Time is either always
visible or never visible, depending on your view. It's not dependent on
the age of a message.

Are you perhaps arranging by View --> Arrange By --> Groups?

Thanks Bill.
The funny thing is that the messages of exactly one week back do have the time of receipt (inbox) or time of sending (sent box) and the day of the week. In the column date/time of older messages there is a blanc space. Before the older messages had a date (month and day of the month)of receipt etcetera.
Of course I arrange by (the Dutch equivalent of) date of receipt / sent.
Any suggestins?

Be sure you are using the "Sent" column for both folders rather than the
"Received" column. You'll find this under View --> Columns.

Hope this helps!
