Hello all

I have an Excel 2003 worksheet containing dates. Column
E and F contain dates. I need Column G to look at the
first date, then the second and return how many days are
between the two.

Any urgent help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi,

You can just use this formula in G column

=F1-E1

and format the cell as number.

Govind.

Hi,

All you need to do is, for example, enter in G1

=F1-E1

You will need to then format cell G1 as "General"

If F1 is earlier in the year than E1, you will need to do

=abs(F1-E1) to prevent negative numbers

Happy to Help,

Gary Thomson
