daylight savings time for Entourage X (mac)

It appears that Entourage (v 10.1.6) recognizes the new DST, however
I'm getting the following msg at the top of each new appt... "In the
Calendar, the event time has been adjusted for your time zone". When I
open the event, the time is displayed correctly. However, it's off by
an hour if I look at the even from the month view. Do I still need a
patch? If so, where would I get it?

Thanks,
Chantal

The answer seems to b e very complex to users who are not computer
experts. Is there any easier way to do this? Why in the world would
we have a calendar that doesn't work?

When Entourage X was released no one knew that a new DST would be enacted.
Initially, Apple only updated Tiger, but has since released a fix for
Panther. Microsoft has updated Office 2004 only. Many companies are not
updating older software because of the time and resources required. The fix
is not a simple task of changing a few lines of code.

For Entourage X which is not EOL (end of life) there is a workaround posted.
It's fairly simple. You replace the timezones.ics file with the new file.
Run an AppleScript and you're set.

I have the same problem with Entourage 2004. Month view shows one hour
off. Any ideas?

I'm having the same problem. Tried the workaround, but when you get
to the step where you are supposed to "replace the timezone.ics" file
with the newly downloaded version, I keep getting an error saying
"Office X cannot be modified." HELP!

Have you quit all office apps first?
