I have been using Office 2000 (Word, Excel, Outlook,
Powerpoint) and have recently added Access 2002.
When I tried a mail merge with Word 2000, getting the data
from an Access database (created in Access 2002, but in
Access 2000 format) I had an error message that said "Word
could not re-establish a DDE connection to Microsoft
Access to complete the current task."
I can get data for Word 2000 mailmerge from Excel 2000
using DDE. Is there a compatibility issue between Word
2000 and Access 2002? Or is something not set up correctly?
