Hi all,
We're currently experiencing problems throughout the organisation whereby
users are finding it slow (30sec to a minute) to open a document or
spreadsheet via an e-mail attachment or by double-clicking on a file whereas
it'll open much quicker from within the app that created it.
Disabling DDE for that file extension and replacing DDE related switches
with "%1" seem to have solved the problem as per research we've done (see
below). My question is, does anyone know what is causing this behaviour and
how to fix it long term?
Thanks in advance for anything anyone can suggest.
Cheers,
Ross.
